If you open one a Victoria box, you'll notice a strong strawberry aroma. Going back to the Spanish post-war period, when times were hard and people needed to be resourceful. The natural rubber used to make sneakers was in short supply. At Victoria, they decided to change the recipe and started to recycle tires to make them into soles. As the smell of the tires was so strong, they used a perfume with a strawberry aroma to disguise it, and since then that, the smell has become one of Victoria's trademarks.
