So most of our Bejeweled followers will know me by now as 'Laura from Bejeweled'. You will usually find me photographing product, posting content, replying to social media queries, unboxing shoes, serving all our amaze customers or deciding which ChloBo bracelet I want next.
In between times, I am studying a masters in Marketing at Ulster University (and usually baking a cake at the same time). As part of my Marketing Analytics module, I will be writing and publishing a series of blog posts on Bejeweled At Soul's website in relation to all things Bejeweled, fashion, accessories, trends and everything else in between.
I have so many Bejeweled related things I could blog about and actually, I had written a whole different blog and was just adding links before publishing it when I discovered that BOTH products I have discussed were out of stock:)
So ... we'll get back to that next week when they are back.
For now, we are going to discuss my favourite jewellery brand EVER, ChloBo. More specifically, ChloBo bracelets.
Before we get started, here is a quick little brief on ChloBo bracelets incase you're wondering what are they???
In Bejeweled world, ChloBo bracelets have been one of our most in-demand products for quite some time now. The bracelets are hand crafted using 925 sterling silver/18ct gold plated. They feature beaded, textured chains and many different charms, all with individual meanings which promote wellness and positivity. The idea behind ChloBo is that overtime, you collect the bracelets and build a collection of bracelets to form your own unique 'stack'. Due to the many variations of bracelets, it is very rare that any two stacks will be the same. Therefore, your stack is more or less customised by you.
To a lot of of customers, building a ChloBo bracelet collection is like an educational journey in itself. Where do you start? What bracelet is best first? Do they have to match? The questions are endless. The first and most important thing I will say is ... at the end of the day, they are bracelets. Stop over thinking it and just get started. Should it be for yourself or as a gift, you will never regret a ChloBo purchase. I have been collecting my ChloBo bracelets for 7 years now and I can safely say I love each bracelet as much as the next and I am yet to purchase/receive one as a gift that is not special to me.
OK so, you don't have a ChloBo bracelet yet. Where do you start? First things first, what colour of jewellery do you tend to wear? Gold, silver or a bit of both? The concept behind ChloBo is layering, stacking and basically, the more you have the better. Personally, I recommend not getting too caught up in on specific colour. I have both silver and gold bracelets which I wear together at all times. However, I know some people can be fussy about not wanting to mix gold and silver and prefer their jewellery being all the one colour. Again, this is completely ok. It's your stack. I'm just making sure you make the right decision at the start so you can get the most wear out of your stack!
Secondly, consider what you want your stack to look like. Do you want a subtle stack consisting of fine, dainty bracelets and charms or would you like a chunkier, statement stack full of varied textures and some larger charms?
Next thing is think charms, have you any specific charm in mind you know you would like? One of my fav charms for stacking/layering multiple bracelets is the tassel charm - also checkout the charms meanings so you know what is the cause/meaning behind each charm. Another fab option for adding depth and textures to your collection is the stacking bracelets. These bracelets have beaded chains but do not have any charms attached. We recommend adding in a few of these when you have a few bracelets collection as they will add more textures and also prevent your stack from looking too over crowded with charms.
ChloBo bracelets are strung on a highly durable elasticated bracelet. So long as you treat you ChloBo's with care, they will last you years. If you have a particularly small or big wrist and need your bracelets resized, this can be achieved by ChloBo for a small extra cost, just get in touch with us!
To some people this blog may seem highly non-beneficial because ... they're just bracelets? Trust me, if you have stood in front of our ChloBo cabinet, filled with every variation of ChloBo bracelet you could ever imagine, then you will know all too well the overwhelming struggle of trying to choose the perfect one for yourself or as a gift.
So, with all that said, I hope I have covered all your queries to help you get started with your ChloBo collection. If you have any more questions regarding our ChloBo bracelets or the ChloBo collection in general, do not hesitate to get in contact with us via social media/phone call/in-store shopping and we will be be happy to help you as always!

Happy Stacking<3
So with that in mind we thought it was only fair to introduce our newest member of the team properly so you can all give her the warmest welcome!
Danielle is the newest member to join our team and we are so excited to have her. Many of you’s will already know her and will be just as delighted as us to see her in the shop.
For any of you that don’t know her, our new gal hails from the bright lights of Sion Mills and is one major yummy mummy to baby Josh! (Look out for her rocking her Rebecca necklace with a J on it just for him!)
Aside from all things fashion. A fun fact about our gal is that she also used to be a wedding florist and was so amazing at it her own wedding was featured on the style serendipity blog!! ( you never know soon you could be able to get your wedding shoes, jewellery AND flowers with us! )
Danielle is coming to us as an absolute pro at all things fashion retail having previously worked in Matalan, Topshop, River Island and Debenhams.
She is our fashionista for sure and we are already grilling her about all things on trend for this season!
In the middle of her whirlwind first week we managed to get out of her what she thinks is the top 3 trends for this season!
So listen up ladies, here are your must haves according to Danielle :
“One of my favourite trends this SS18 is the cross body bag, as a busy mum on the go this is definitely a trend I can relate to. My favourite are the Fiorelli bags ; they come in an arrangement of colours ( my fav is the grey!) and are a smart casual bag that can be used everyday, on holidays or for a night out. Not only are they practical but very on trend”
“My favourite shoe this SS18 is the brogue, this sophisticated style of shoe compliments woman’s structured suits that can be found across any high street retailer at the minute. I’m a lover of a good blazer and anyone that knows me well will tell you I’m not often seen without wearing one. The brogue is a smart/ casual shoe that can also be worn with a tapered trouser or a skinny jean, throw on a nice blazer and you’re ready to rock. This look will lead you nicely into AW 18 in style”
“A brand that is quite new to Bejeweled At Soul is Mya Bay, the stacking bracelets are so unique. I love the diversity of this brand, the bracelets all have different engravings and designs. You can mix and match different bracelets to create endless combinations to suit your style. Also meaning it’s highly unlikely someone will ever have the same set as you. The bracelets has a 3 position closing mechanism meaning they are easy to put on and take off and you can make them as fitted or loose as you like”
We are so lucky to have her as part of our team and one week in, it’s like she has always been here! (We knew she was destined to be a bejeweled babe the minute she walked in with buns in her hand)
So the next time your in store make sure to say Hi!! we’re sure you will all make her feel just as welcome as you did when any of our others girls started out.
]]>Which is why I have become a pro at finding the perfect dupes. If you see it on the catwalk or on your favourite celeb you can be sure it will be in the shops in a matter of months for a quarter if not less of the price. So, with that in mind I thought I would show you 10 of our favourite designer dupes from this seasons collection and the huge differences in price.
As much as I love designers items, the dupe life will always be for me (that is unless I win the lotto!) However if you are considering buying a designer piece, the biggest rule when buying designer is to buy classic, anything trend led isn’t worth it, because two months later the “fashion gods” will declare the end of the trend and that’s it!
Basically, everything that isn’t designer has been influenced by it, and often you will find the dupes are nicer than the real thing! So it’s basically win win!
Plus if your ever looking for a great excuse to justify the newest pair of Bejewleled babies in your wardrobe, just think of how much money you could have spent! Instead of buying the designer pair you got the shoes and now you can take them out on the town too!
Megs x
At this point I should admit I researched this a little and to my ultimate horror I read an article about dropping your kids off at the school gate in West London and how you had to be careful as your fashion will dictate your friends!!!! So if you didn’t look cool in your Seven jeans & fur gilet no one took any notice of you, but be careful not to look too polished otherwise you will alienate the stay at home mums and won’t be invited for morning coffee…. SERIOUSLY??? Thankfully I don’t think any of us have become that shallow.
So here’s me, not a groomed person by nature, that has no claim to know anything more than anyone else about fashion, sharing with you my back to school wardrobe rules so whether; you’re the full-time working mum dropping your kids off with the guilty look on your face, because you feel you are rushing them (I’ve been there), the sporty mum bouncing in with your Lycra (I’ve been there too but it’s been so long I forget how I looked) or the stay at home mum with sooooo much to do (I’ve also been there), I have the look for you!
So here’s all it takes;
At this time of year it’s all people see apart from the feet so a new coat is always a great investment. This year it’s all about the leopard, but for me that’s every year! Don’t panic if mad print isn’t your thing, stick with a classic solid colour coat & change it up with a scarf or two, the cosier the better!
Let’s get real we live in Ireland it pours so a hood is essential (however I always have another coat on the side for those not so rainy days where I want a more fun less practical look). This isn’t something I invest in every year; my Tommy Hilfiger puffer jacket is in its second year and still perfect. Considering I have probably wore it for 46 weeks of the year it’s a great investment.
One blue denim; one black; As a rule I don’t splurge on black jeans. The fact of the matter is no matter how much you pay they wash out – New Look is great for black jeans, go for mid or high rise (I can’t cope with the constant hoisting them up) and do try on, its ok if they’re a LITTLE tight in the changing room they always stretch.
Now blue denim, for me this is worth an investment. I’m happy to pay a little more and get a little more back, plus I never need a pair of scales – if the jeans are too tight I need to stop eating caramel squares from Grays.
Of course I’m going to tell you all your shoes should be from Bejeweled At Soul, but seriously we really do have all avenues covered. If you know me, you will have seen me in my Bourbon by Amy Huberman trainers, right now they’re ticking every box; A bit sleeker than a usual trainer, not as bulky & they’ve even got glitter!
Next up a flat tan boot & a dressy black boot… BOOM that’s me done with the feet unless I decide I need a little treat through the year. One thing we will always agree on is comfort, and in the crazy world of being a Super Mum (whatever that is, I’m not there yet) we need comfy feet.
Whether it is a pop of colour with a scarf, fab necklace or a great handbag, this will be the first thing people will notice, It won’t matter what else your wearing!
Nothing else matters if you work with all of the above you could wear nothing but your bra beneath your coat and it wouldn’t matter pick up a few tops and cosy jumpers and you are good to go!
If I could give you one more bit of advice – prep the night before, it’s the oldest trick in the book but it’s the best – this is where you leave the morning madness behind
Tracy, X
]]>And lets face it gone are the days of wedding season just being during the summer months; couples are now doing their own thing (hallelujah!). So whether it’s candy floss prosecco, a civil ceremony in the woods, pig on a spit or even a bride in a jumpsuit! (i wish i wore a jumpsuit). Traditions as we once knew it are changing and for the good! Us guests can break the rules too and do our own thing, (except DO NOT break the faux pas of wearing white to a wedding – be warned!).
So frig it lets wear that outfit more than once! No need to dodge the prosecco fueled snapchats or Facebook taggers! Embrace life and abort the ‘wear it once culture’, like really who actually cares? Here’s some style inspo from me for the continuing wedding season ahead, now bearing in mind I’ve went for pieces from mine & Holly’s fav brand at the mo; Hope & Ivy (yes Holly Willoughby she’s my gal lol). But don’t forget ladies these shoes and accessories would all look great with that fab dress hiding in the back of your wardrobe, just change up your look! Trust me you’ll thank me for it when you’ve got the extra cash for your Beauty Bay splurge!
I love a little embroidery and while a big summer trend we now see it move to a more ornate style for winter, this dress certainly ticks all the boxes with an ideal length and sleeves!!! Yes sleeves!! How hard is it to find a dress with sleeves for our gorge Irish weather? These shoes add the perfect pop of colour, I’m mad about the ombre effect. Continuing the ornate style these earrings and ring from Danish brand Dyrberg Kern compliment the look. Finally, I’ve added a simple silver metallic textured pouch to lift the look!
Yes, i just hadda get a red dress in my post, it’s one of this season’s most trending colours! All i gotta say is don’t be afraid, embrace it a little! Even if it’s a Qudo topper with a red stone for your ring – baby steps lol! Not letting the dress do all the talking I’ve added these show stopper stilettos! Tied in the black and silver with the super sleek Rosefield watch – every woman needs one of these! Black sparkle pouch clutch to tie in with the shoes, and my new fav earrings at the mo, (they’re only £25!) – I love that they’re all silver, no fraying threads here ladies!
I just had to add a Jumpsuit, and of course rose gold accessories!! Look at those stilettos girls! – rose gold chrome; prefect to lift the rose tone in the print! I’ve chosen these Guess jewellery pieces as they are adorned with iridescent Swarvorski stones, and i feel they’d compliment the jumpsuit perfectly! And well, I had to get a little nail art inspo in there too! if you watch our Snapchat you’re sure to know my nails are always done, my lil guilty pressure. (Nails – Credit Instagram)
So when i first started writing my blog post I toyed around for half a day with one paragraph! Writing was never my strong point at school I preferred art class or hitting a hockey ball around the pitch. But I thought after all my rambling it was only fair to show you all me wearing my fav Hope & Ivy piece at a recent wedding, and yes i will be wearing it again to another!, here’s how easy it is to change it up a little! I might even wear it to our Christmas party, I’m so over the ‘wear it once culture’.
Dress, Earrings, Faux Fur, Shoes, Bag
But remember girls the best thing you can wear is a smile, even if hunger hits during the speeches and the last time you ate was that biscuit you had with your tea at the hairdressers at 8am that morning! (Trust me I’ve been there!)
Hope you love my inspo just as much as I love working with these girls, our amazing journey so far and all the fab opportunities it has brought! #BLESSED
